Job summary

Talisman is seeking a Finance Manager (Investments) to lead end-to-end transaction workstreams in a renewable energy portfolio including solar, storage, and wind. The role involves maintaining financial models and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external investors and lenders in a dynamic market.

Based in Durham, NC with hybrid work options or remote work with monthly travel, the role reports to the SVP of Investments and requires a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of finance experience in renewables or power markets.
• Background at a utility-scale developer, investment bank, or transaction-focused firm.
• Strong knowledge of project finance tools: construction debt, term loans, tax equity.
• Proficient financial modeler with strong analytical skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle pressure.
• Clear communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project debt and tax equity capital raise processes; RFPs, term sheets, investor Q&A, and legal documentation
• Manage corporate financing transactions and existing credit facilities
• Screen acquisition opportunities, support structuring and pricing, and manage due diligence through to close
• Build, review, and maintain complex financial models across capital structures
• Prepare board presentations and financial analyses to support strategic decisions
• Guide analysts on financial modelling and transaction workstreams
