Job summary

DPR Construction in Monroe, LA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of construction projects. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure requirements, timelines and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, coordinating with managers, monitoring schedules and budgets, maintaining project documentation, supporting QA and safety protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; completion required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Assists in reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
Coordinates with project managers and project teams to address standard technical questions and resolve general project issues.
Monitors standard project schedules and budgets, tracks labor productivity, and reports variances for corrective actions.
Supports implementation of standard quality assurance and safety protocols throughout all project phases.
Prepares and maintains project documentation, including progress reports and technical records.
