Job summary

Landmark Builders, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to support field operations and project management teams on Southeast construction projects.

This hands-on role emphasizes learning through exposure to all project phases, from preconstruction to closeout, with time spent on-site to develop practical skills. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and show readiness to grow into leadership roles such as Project Manager or Superintendent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Technologically proficient; experience with Procore or similar software is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with on-site labor coordination.
• Attend subcontractor and Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings.
• Maintain project documents and drawings on-site and in project management systems.
• Prepare daily field reports and weekly progress logs.
• Draft and track RFIs; create procurement logs and material delivery schedules.
• Support QA/QC planning and safety program implementation.
• Assist with punch lists and closeout documentation.
