Job summary

Lunda Construction Co. is hiring an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our teams in Black River Falls or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

You will work with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and field crews to support layout, scheduling, and field execution while learning our processes and standards. You will help with billing, RFIs, and coordination across design partners and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with drawings, codes, and specifications.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Commitment to safety and quality on construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, and field personnel.
• Assist with project layout, scheduling, and identifying critical work items.
• Support monthly billing, cash flow forecasting, and change order processing.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to support field execution and installation.
• Review mock-ups, shop drawings, and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and monitor subcontractor compliance.
• Create and process RFIs (Requests for Information).
• Assist with schedule coordination and ensuring field teams have needed information.
• Participate in development and review of design and work plans.
• Support safety initiatives and OSHA compliance.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and other technical tasks.
• Perform additional duties to support project success.
