Lunda Construction Co., a Tutor Perini Company, seeks an Entry-Level Project Engineer for our offices in Black River Falls, WI, or Milwaukee, WI. Join a major civil contractor dedicated to safety, quality, and on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
  • Recent college graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Prior construction or heavy civil experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams with Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal teams, design partners, subcontractors, and project leadership.
  • Assist with project layout and identify critical work items and long-lead materials.
  • Support monthly billing, cash flow forecasting, and change order processing.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to support craft installation and field execution.
  • Review mock-ups, shop drawings, and subcontractor scopes of work.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and coordinate with QA/QC team.
  • Verify work is completed in accordance with drawings, codes, and specifications.
  • Create and process RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Assist with schedule coordination and ensure field teams have information to execute work.
  • Participate in development and review of design and work plans.
  • Support safety initiatives, including inspections and OSHA compliance.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and other technical tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

DESCRIPTION:
