Job summary

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Project Control Specialist to support the EAGLE Fort Sill project. The role partners with the Project Control Analyst to drive financial performance through planning, forecasting, and reporting.

You will assist in month-end close, analyze variances, manage baselines and EACs, and help ensure accurate cost and schedule data across the program. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Costpoint/Cognos are beneficial.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• 0-2 years of experience with government contracts.
• Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Control Analyst in driving project financial performance through planning, tracking, and reporting.
• Consolidate, analyze, and present monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.
• Review labor utilization and assist in variance analysis for revenue and margins.
• Support month-end close tasks including cost, revenue, and accrual reconciliations.
• Produce and interpret project financial reports and assist in variance analysis.
• Support project setup in Costpoint and contribute to earned value calculations.
