Job summary

LHH is representing a client in Essex County, NJ seeking a Junior Product Engineer to support new product development, process improvement, and manufacturing optimization. You will work cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to bring products from concept to commercialization.

Responsibilities include planning trials, evaluating materials, testing products, and collaborating with Sales, Quality, Operations, and EHS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical, Materials, or Manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Internship, co-op, or related engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute product trials and process improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate raw materials and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct product testing and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Operations, and EHS teams.
• Document testing, trials, and project outcomes.
• Assist with product launches and continuous improvement efforts.
