Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced mechanical/ manufacturing engineer to lead multiple product development programs from concept through release. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to assure milestones, validation, and production launches are met.

You will drive engineering studies, provide technical recommendations, and mentor less-experienced engineers while engaging external partners and customers as needed. Domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in product development or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience supporting customer programs in engineered manufacturing or transportation.
• Knowledge of APQP, cross-functional execution.
• Familiarity with structural design, durability and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering programs to meet milestones, launches and deliverables.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and program teams across development to production.
• Perform engineering studies on product performance, structural integrity, manufacturability, and cost.
• Provide technical recommendations and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work with external partners and customers to define performance requirements.
• Support prototype builds, testing, validation, and production launches.
• Drive improvements in engineering standards and processes.
• Explore emerging technologies and data-driven tools to improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and grow technical capabilities.
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations as needed.
