Job summary

Story is seeking a Junior Producer / Production Coordinator who’s organized, resourceful, and hungry to make great films. You'll work directly with our producers and creative team to bring productions to life, coordinating crew, locations, equipment, and schedules.

This role offers hands-on experience across every stage of filmmaking, with opportunities to grow into a producer capable of leading your own projects. Based in the SF Bay Area, relocation is welcomed to support exciting campaigns.

Qualifications

• Experience in film, commercial production, or related creative production environments.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep productions moving by coordinating schedules, logistics, crew, equipment, locations, and travel.
• Research locations, source equipment, track vendors, and solve production challenges.
• Coordinate crews and vendors, book crew, manage communications, ensure information flow.
• Maintain production calendars, call sheets, contact lists, schedules, budgets, and docs.
• Support shoots on set with day-of logistics and effective on-set problem solving.
• Track budgets and expenses, assist with estimates, invoices, and financial records.
• Support projects from pre-production through post-production, taking initiative.
• Take ownership by anticipating needs and resolving issues without waiting for instructions.
