Story Inc in the SF Bay Area is hiring a Fullstack Filmmaker who can take a project from the first idea to the final film, developing concepts, planning productions, directing, shooting, and editing across Story's work.

This experienced role requires leading productions, coordinating with VFX and editors, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality work on schedule. Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate, you will own projects and help shape Story's storytelling.

Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating work across multiple stages of production.
• Professional experience directing, shooting, and editing.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Ability to complete a paid test project.
• Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts from the initial brief through execution.
• Plan productions, including budgets, schedules, talent, and locations.
• Direct and shoot across a range of projects and formats.
• Edit your own work or guide an editor through post-production.
• Coordinate with VFX artists and other production collaborators.
• Lead client calls, present ideas, and manage relationships throughout a project.
• Manage multiple projects while keeping quality and delivery on track.
