Primoris Energy Services in Sherman, Texas, is seeking an entry-level Procurement Specialist I to support purchasing activities for our energy services operations. You will assist with PO processing, vendor sourcing, and cost-effective buys while learning our procurement systems and policies.

You will collaborate with internal teams, track orders, and help ensure timely delivery and accurate records as part of a fast-paced energy services environment in the Sherman area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of procurement or related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders and requisitions.
• Source new vendors and maintain approved vendor database.
• Negotiate pricing and terms under supervision.
• Track and expedite orders for on-time delivery.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to meet procurement needs.
• Maintain procurement records including POs and contracts.
• Assist in market research for cost savings and new products.
• Collaborate with accounts payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Participate in inventory management as needed.
