Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Level-1 Buyer to handle pre-purchase procurement activities, screen PRs, and manage supplier base. The role involves reviewing requisitions, onboarding new suppliers, and maintaining compliance documentation for government policies.

The candidate should have 0–2 years of experience, strong MS Office and SharePoint skills, and a customer-service mindset. Travel to programs may be required on temporary assignments both CONUS/OCONUS.

Qualifications

• Education: BS/BA Degree or equivalent
• Experience: 0–2 years professional experience
• Must communicate clearly in writing and orally
• Sales and data analytics experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SharePoint

Responsibilities

• Screen Purchase Requisitions (PR) from programs and award low-dollar orders.
• Work with end-users on PR discrepancies from programs.
• Act as sponsor for onboarding new suppliers.
• Conduct Denied Party screenings and track annual certifications/insurance.
• Act as Expediters to track critical shipments.
• Generate and maintain reports per team leads' instructions.
• Maintain all documentation required by government and company policies.
• May travel on temporary assignments to CONUS/OCONUS programs.
