Job summary

V2X, a global procurement organization, is seeking a Level-1 Buyer to support pre-purchase activities, screen requisitions, and manage supplier records. You will add new suppliers, handle pre-qualification, and coordinate with Finance on supplier entry into systems like IFS.

Ideal candidates bring 0–2 years of experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Travel to programs may be required to support CONUS/OCONUS assignments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of professional experience.
• Customer service oriented, detail focused, pro-active behavior, multi-task capability.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally.
• Sales and data analytics experience a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Screen Purchase Requisitions (PR) from programs and award low dollar orders.
• Work with end-users if there is any discrepancies in the PRs received from program.
• Act as a sponsor for on-boarding new suppliers.
• Conduct Denied Party screenings/reviews, track annual re-certifications and insurance certificates.
• Act as Expediters to track critical shipments.
• Generate & maintain reports by following the instructions of team leads.
• Responsible for all documentation associated with a purchase as required by government and company policies.
• Performs other duties assigned.
• May be required to travel on Temporary Assignments to Programs both CONUS/OCONUS in support of program and mission requirements.
