Accenture seeks a supply chain and operations professional with a foundation in industrial engineering and process optimization to join its Engineering group in a client-facing consulting role in the United States. You will observe, learn, and apply labor standard development through Lean, Six Sigma, ergonomic methods, and time-study templates to improve methods and remove waste.

You will train associates, prioritize improvements with clients, and contribute to performance management programs

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or significant equivalent experience.
• LEAN Six Sigma process improvement principles and practices.
• Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to travel 80-90% of the time.
• Weekend work availability as needed by project schedules.
• 1-3 years in consulting experience.
• Additional software: AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, Excel VBA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client managers to observe and learn labor standard development.
• Identify opportunities to improve methods, safety, or accuracy; remove wasted effort.
• Train associates on improved processes and performance management.
• Document labor standard development: methods, elements, templates, calibrate time-study team.
• Collect, enter, and analyze time study data.
• Finalize personal and fatigue allowances.
• Represent Accenture professionally in consultant/client relationships.
• Engage in on-site client relationships with various levels, including executives.
