Placements24 is seeking a Junior Process Engineer to join their operations team in Paarl. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in chemical process operations, optimization, and problem-solving under the guidance of senior engineers.

You will monitor plant performance, assist with troubleshooting, contribute to process improvement projects, and learn safety and environmental regulations in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• Strong academic record and keen interest in process operations.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring plant operations and process performance, identifying deviations from normal operating parameters.
• Support senior engineers in troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
