Job summary

GlobalWafers America in Sherman, TX is seeking an Entry Level Process Engineer to monitor operations, ensure quality and compliance, and support data-driven process improvements. The role offers growth in a state-of-the-art semiconductor facility.

The position requires a STEM degree (Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Engineering or related) and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma concepts; CAD/ SolidWorks and data analysis experience are a plus. This is an on-site role at Sherman, TX.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of 6-Sigma methodologies and LEAN Manufacturing
• Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Experience with CAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, and computer programming languages is desired

Responsibilities

• Manage procedures and specifications to optimize equipment and process stability and control
• Implement continual improvement programs for process performance including quality, throughput, cost and yield
• Collaborate with support systems (chemical delivery, facilities, etc.) to optimize process performance
• Defining type and use of SPC charts
• Develop process specifications for assigned equipment and processes
• Assist development and qualification of new product.
• Writing TECNs for special production/engineering requirements
• Support correlation and qualification efforts for new business
• Conduct data analysis using statistical methodologies
• Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues
• Perform other related duties as assigned
