Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, production, process engineering, industrial engineering, or New Product Introduction environments.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering documentation, mechanical assemblies, and production operations.
  • Experience analyzing data and using problem-solving methodologies to investigate manufacturing or quality-related issues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, validate, and maintain manufacturing methods, process flows, assembly procedures, and operation sequences for fabrication of parts, modules, subassemblies, and final systems.
  • Support transition of new products from Engineering to Manufacturing by partnering with Design Engineering, NPI, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure manufacturability, scalability, quality, and cost objectives.
  • Drive engineering change implementation by reviewing, launching, approving, and executing ECOs, process changes, work instruction updates, and configuration management activities.
  • Apply DFx methodologies (DFM, DFA, DFC) to improve productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, waste elimination, ergonomics improvements, and capacity enhancements using Lean principles.
