Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in process engineering within manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of PCBs and PCBA assemblies.
  • Familiarity with SMT/PCBA production equipment such as screen printers, reflow ovens, pick-and-place machines, and through-hole automation.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand assembly techniques for through-hole, surface-mount, and mixed-technology builds.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support process improvements and assist in developing new or updated manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
  • Collect and analyze production data to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and waste reduction.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation, including process flow diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot process issues and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Support the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, tools, and technologies.
  • Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing practices.
  • Train and support production personnel on process improvements, equipment operation, and best-practice assembly techniques.

Schedule & Budgeted Hours
Shift Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Paid Hours Per Day: 8 hours (includes one 30‑minute unpaid meal break).
Overtime: May be required based on production needs and will be compensated in accordance with California labor law.
Budgeted Hours
Budgeted Weekly Hours: 40 hours (5 shifts × 8 hours).
