Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Power & Analog Design Engineer I to join the MPD department. This onsite role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architectures, perform detailed design and simulations, and provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.

You will engage in architecture development at the circuit card level, design and test analog/power circuits, and partner with senior engineers through layout and verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (STEM) is required.
• Less than 2 years of prior relevant experience is typical for this level.
• Experience with buck/boost topologies and analog electronics is required.
• Experience with MATLAB/MathCAD/Mathematica or similar tools for design/analysis is needed.
• Ability to document designs and clearly communicate technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with circuit card level architecture development.
• Design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and ECAD drafters on layout and routing.
• Support integration and verification in engineering labs.
