Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Junior Plumbing Estimator for our California projects. The role involves developing plumbing estimates, coordinating with preconstruction and project teams, and ensuring accuracy while identifying value engineering opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of plumbing estimating experience and familiarity with Excel, QuickPen/Accubid, and BlueBeam, with a preference for candidates local to the Bay Area and mechanical/plumbing contractor

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Plumbing Estimating experience.
• Experience with Excel, QuickPen/Accubid and BlueBeam on estimates.
• Knowledge of value engineering opportunities and check for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work in Excel, Quickpen (Accubid), and BlueBeam on Plumbing Estimates for projects.
• Coordinate with Preconstruction, Purchasing and Project Management groups.
• Check estimates for accuracy and look for value engineering opportunities.

This is a permanent position with extensive benefits package and career growth opportunities. We are a large Design-Build Mechanical Contractors that works on many of CA's biggest and best Plumbing and Mechanical Projects.

We are looking for a Junior Plumbing Estimator with 1 or more years of Commercial Plumbing Estimating experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work in Excel, Quickpen (Accubid), and BlueBeam on Plumbing Estimates for current and upcoming projects
• Coordinate with Preconstruction, Purchasing and Project Management groups
• Check Estimates for accuracy and look for value engineering opportunities

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Plumbing Estimating experience

Preferred:

• Prior Plumbing Journeyman and/or Foreman experience
• Local in Bay Area
• Currently working for mechanical/plumbing contractor
• Medium to Large Project experience
• Knowledge working with Excel, Quickpen (Accubid), and BlueBeam
• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or similar
