Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC in California seeks a HVAC/Plumbing Estimator with 5+ years of experience to read AutoCAD drawings, estimate projects, and coordinate manpower for Bay Area bids.

As a fast growing mechanical company. We are currently in need of a HVAC/Plumbing Estimator. The ideal applicant must have 5 or more years of Plumbing/HVAC experience and located in the California area.

• Read AutoCAD Drawings.
• Estimating projects and major buyout of projects.
• Coordinate manpower and provide schedules.
• Review Sub-contractor estimates and quotes.
• Identify and communicate conflicts and errors in estimates.
• Build effective, profitable winning bids for upcoming projects.
• Visit with clients, general contractors and engineers.
• Look for value engineering opportunities.
• 5 or more years of HVAC/Plumbing experience.
• 5 or more years of Estimating experience.
• Extensive Plumbing knowledge.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar.
• Knowledge of Quick Pen or any other digital take-off program.
• BlueBeam.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHPD and CA building codes.
• Local to the Bay Area.
