Job summary

WSP is seeking an Early Career Plumbing Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. Join our Property & Buildings Team to contribute to plumbing system design, development, testing, and inspection across infrastructure projects.

You will assist with data collection from site surveys, develop basic design work, perform load calculations, and generate precise documentation while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post-education experience.
• Excellent research skills with analytical mindset.
• Familiarity with design/build concepts and plumbing systems regulations.
• Proficient writing and communication for engineering documentation.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data collection and analysis from site surveys, drawings, and reports.
• Support basic plumbing engineering design and inspections for site conditions.
• Perform entry-level engineering tasks including load calculations and design requirements.
• Assist with verifying site characteristics and technical issues.
• Generate documentation and specifications using electronic systems.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and site procedures.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
