Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Junior Pet Stylist for our Grooming team. Begin your Petco journey with ten-week training in bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear and gland cleaning, guided by experienced groomers.

Qualifications

0-1 year of animal related experience preferred.
High-school diploma or GED preferred though not required.
Genuine passion for animals and desire to pursue grooming.
Basic understanding of dog breeds and grooming practices.

Responsibilities

Under supervision, perform limited grooming tasks including bathing, drying, brushing and nail trimming.
Ensure the safety and well-being of every animal in the salon.
Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain a clean grooming area and sanitize tools according to Petco policies.
Schedule grooming appointments and maintain records.
Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and guidelines.
