Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. is hiring a Junior Pet Stylist to begin a grooming career. During a ten-week training period you will learn bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear and gland cleaning with guidance from seasoned groomers.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform limited grooming services including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning and gland cleaning per client instructions.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, disinfect tools, and assist in salon cleaning tasks as needed.
• Schedule grooming appointments, manage paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards for safety and quality.
