Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is hiring a Junior Pet Stylist in grooming. This ten‑week training period develops basic grooming skills under experienced groomers, focusing on bathing, drying, nails, and more while learning safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience or shelter volunteering preferred.
• Strong passion for animals and willingness to pursue a grooming career.
• Capable of handling pets of all sizes with care and empathy.
• Effective verbal and written communication with pet parents and team.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming for pets under supervision.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of every animal in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized grooming area and equipment.
• Schedule appointments and maintain grooming records.
• Learn and follow Petco grooming policies and standards.
