Job summary

Petco is hiring a Junior Pet Stylist in Grooming. The role starts with a ten‑week training period to learn bathing, brushing, nail trimming, drying and other grooming tasks under seasoned groomers. You will gain hands‑on experience while enjoying opportunities for growth and development within Petco Grooming.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year of animal related experience, including shelter volunteering or pet sitting, preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED is preferred, though not required.
• Genuine passion for animals and a desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform limited grooming tasks including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning and related duties.
• Ensure the well‑being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain a clean, safe grooming area.
