Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. seeks a enthusiastic Junior Pet Stylist in our grooming department. This ten-week training period covers bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear and gland cleaning under experienced groomers.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of animal-related experience preferred.

• Passion for animals and a desire to pursue a career in pet grooming.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, perform limited grooming services including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, ear cleaning, and gland cleaning.
• Ensure the well-being and safety of every animal in the salon at all times.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide optimal customer service.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, sanitize tools, and assist with cleaning duties.
• Schedule grooming appointments and maintain grooming records.
• Learn and adhere to Petco grooming policies and guidelines.
