Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Junior Performance Analyst to support the Business Transformation Office. You will coordinate recurring reporting processes, maintain metric data, and contribute to Power BI dashboards.

The role reports to the Analytics Lead and supports program health and corporate metrics across PQMR, CPARs, and OKR reporting. Remote work within the United States is possible with Eastern Time working hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, analytics, information systems, data, or related field.
• Experience with Power BI and related data visualization tools.
• Experience with spreadsheets, structured data, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recurring activities supporting CPAR process, including schedules, follow-up, record maintenance, and status reporting.
• Support PQMR cycle data compilation for Health Stoplight and Monthly Service Delivery Pulse materials.
• Maintain customer feedback and recognition information/data; assist with internal quality checks and follow-ups.
• Support metric and corporate OKR reporting, tracking submissions, deadlines, and stakeholder follow-ups.
• Maintain reporting tools (Excel, SharePoint, Power BI) and assist with updates, data quality reviews, and visualizations.

Kentro is hiring for a Junior Performance Analyst to support the Business Transformation Office. The Junior Performance Analyst supports Kentro's Business Transformation Office (BTO) and broader firm performance activities by coordinating recurring reporting processes, maintaining accurate metric data, and improving reporting tools and dashboards. Reporting to the Analytics Lead, this role provides business analyst support across BTO's performance-reporting portfolio, including the Program Quality Management Review (PQMR) cycle, People and Program Performance Score carding, Contractor Performance Assessment Reports (CPARs), customer feedback and service-delivery reviews, and corporate metrics and OKR reporting. The analyst works with data compiled across this portfolio to support accurate, consistent reporting and, with growing proficiency, contributes to Power BI dashboard development and broader analytics work that helps program managers and firm leadership assess program and firm health.

Location

Remote - This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually. Kentro determines compensation by evaluating current government contracting and commercial market conditions, as well as the role’s specific requirements. Final salary placement within this range will be based on the candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and security clearance level, where applicable.

Responsibilities

Customer Performance and Service Delivery Support

• Coordinate recurring activities supporting the CPAR process, including schedules, follow-up, record maintenance, and status reporting.
• Support the quarterly Program Quality Management Review (PQMR) cycle, including compiling data for teams reporting the Program Health Stoplight and Monthly Service Delivery Pulse materials, tracking submission status, and assisting with related communications to program managers.
• Maintain customer feedback and recognition information/data.
• Assist with internal quality checks by reviewing contract team environments against established internal standards and documenting results and follow-up items.

Corporate Performance and Metric Reporting

• Administer recurring metric and corporate OKR reporting activities, assisting with submission tracking, deadline coordination, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Maintain metric and data reporting tools used to collect, organize, and report corporate performance information.
• Review reported information for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrections when needed.

Reporting Tools and Analytics

• Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of BTO's metric data automation pipeline, ensuring source data flows accurately into reporting and dashboard tools.
• Maintain reporting tools using Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and other approved business platforms.
• Support existing Power BI reports and dashboards through routine updates, data-quality reviews, refresh monitoring, and basic enhancements.
• Assist with developing reports, visualizations, and basic analytical outputs using established data models and reporting standards, including People and Program Performance Scorecarding, Corporate Service Operational Dashboards, and Risk reporting.
• Identify data gaps, reporting issues, and opportunities to make information more reliable, accessible, or useful.

Process Improvement and Stakeholder Support

• Support the Analytics Lead and IT Infrastructure to improve data governance, collection, and reporting processes.
• Respond to routine questions and provide practical support to business stakeholders, data owners, and process participants.
• Communicate reporting status, upcoming deadlines, data issues, and follow-up needs clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, information systems, data, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with Power BI; Familiarity with Power Query, basic DAX, data preparation, dashboard design, or data modeling.
• Experience working with spreadsheets, structured data, reporting tools, or business information.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize information, manage recurring deadlines, and follow tasks through completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar business processes, reporting tools, and data sources.
