Job summary

Touch Dynamic is seeking a hands-on Junior PC Technician to join the Houston team. The role focuses on building, testing, and configuring computer systems and troubleshooting hardware issues in a fast-paced environment.

You will install hardware, OS, software, and peripherals, perform QC testing, and assist with onsite support and local deliveries. The position requires 1-3 years of hands-on experience and a willingness to learn and grow technically.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years hands-on experience building, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting computers.
• A+ Certification, technical training, or related degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, components, peripherals, and operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for onsite support, deliveries, and pickups.
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and test computer systems according to specifications provided on sales orders.
• Install and configure hardware, operating systems, software, and peripheral equipment as required.
• Perform quality-control testing on completed systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware issues.
• Replace or repair computer components as necessary.
• Assist with onsite technical support when needed.
• Perform occasional local deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with other technical and operational duties as needed.
