Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–3 years in systems administration, IT support, or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with patch management concepts and tools (WSUS, SCCM).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Current secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply patch management principles to identify, test, and deploy updates across endpoints.
• Coordinate routine and emergency patch cycles with testing, approvals, and maintenance windows.
• Monitor vulnerability and patch compliance reports and remediate non‑compliant systems.
• Understand dependencies between endpoints, servers, and networks for planning deployments.
• Assist with automated patch workflows, including scheduling and documenting results for audits.
• Maintain baselines, procedures, and SOPs for repeatable operations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity staff to align patching with threats and policies.
