Job summary

Ferrero is seeking a Junior Packaging Technologist to collaborate with Quality Assurance and Production, applying specs and methods to monitor process development. You will support start-ups, testing, and data collection to improve product quality and cost-efficiency.

The role emphasizes handling product characteristics, process optimization, and adherence to food safety standards, with opportunities to train staff and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology with 1-3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of organoleptic testing and product tech.
• Understanding of production processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production and Quality to ensure specs, quality, and safety.
• Serve as site technical expert on product characteristics and processes.
• Monitor critical process parameters and product data for consistency.
• Maintain specs, formulas, SOPs, and production settings.
• Lead start-ups, testing, data collection, and optimization.
• Conduct product evaluations and sensory analyses; propose actions.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
• Support inspections to meet standards and regulations.
• Train production staff on controls and sampling methods.
• Promote Ferrero policies and food safety programs.
