Job Description
Role Summary

The Junior Outside Account Manager will support a tenured Regional Sales Manager by managing and growing our customer base, with a focus on key accounts in Texas. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional seeking mentorship and immediate contribution to customer success. Responsibilities include providing timely support, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in HVAC, with a proven track record calling on distributors as a manufacturer’s representative.

Main Tasks
  1. Customer Support:
    • Provide timely support to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
    • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams for smooth communication.
  2. Sales Support:
    • Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to meet targets.
    • Conduct customer visits to maintain relationships with key accounts.
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Develop understanding of product line, features, benefits, and applications.
    • Educate customers and recommend products based on needs.
  4. Market Intelligence:
    • Gather and report on market activities, competitor actions, customer feedback, and industry trends.
    • Use insights to refine sales strategies and improve support.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and documentation as required.
Your Profile
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of outside sales experience, preferably in HVAC.
  • Experience calling on distributors as a manufacturer’s rep is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be located in Texas; willing to travel up to 50%, primarily overnight, within the Western US.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
