Job summary

Capgemini in Jersey City is seeking a data engineering professional to design and optimize Oracle-based data pipelines on Day One onsite hybrid in Jersey City, NJ.

You will work across ETL, SQL, PLSQL, Unix scripting, and reporting, ensuring robust data flows from source to analytics, with QA tasks and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle 11g/12c and ETL processing.
• Loading and cleansing large data sets from diverse vendors.
• Developing SQL/PLSQL objects and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Create Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages and views.
• Automate batch processing with Unix scripts and real-time reporting.
• Perform data modeling, transformations and data quality checks.
• Write complex queries to identify interface issues and remediation.
• Ensure end-to-end data flow from UI to DB.

Job Location - Jersey City NJ (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)

Job Descriptions

• Create Oracle Procedures functions triggers packages materialized view views using advanced features of Oracle 11g 12ETL Processing with Python Oracle Unix Batch ETL and Real Time Stream Processing
• Also able to do QA for some tasks
• Loading huge data sets from multiple vendors and performing data cleansing, data transformations, data loading which involves data modeling and data analytics
• Work on performance tuning for existing SQL PLSQL Objects and also build optimized objects
• Create complex Unix Shell scripts to automate the batch job processing create reports on realtime daily weekly basis
• Perform logical and physical design of database data modeling and design specifications to analyze dependencies and perform risk analysis
• Develop and maintain technical specifications data mappings program logic and flowchart for all the change requests that are performed
• Write complex queries to identify the potential issues while interfaces fail and re mediate them
• Automate flat file loading to Oracle using SQL Loader and create control files for that activity
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other Dev Assist tools and capabilities
• Strong Oracle performance tuning skills
• Able to understand the flow end to end from UI to DB
