Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a skilled data engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL workflows for data ingestion and integration. You will build data processing solutions using Python and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages and queries, while automating deployments with Ansible.

You will collaborate with business analysts, architects and DBAs to ensure data governance and high-quality data pipelines, supporting production deployments and incident resolution.

Qualifications

Job Description
  • Design develop and maintain scalable ETL workflows for data ingestion transformation and integration
  • Build custom data processing solutions using Python and related frameworks libraries
  • Develop and optimize Oracle PLSQL packages procedures functions triggers and queries
  • Automate application deployment configuration management and operational processes using Ansible
  • Perform data modeling data validation and reconciliation activities
  • Create and support batch processing frameworks and scheduling solutions
  • Develop reusable Ansible playbooks roles and inventories for infrastructure and application automation
  • Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks failures and data quality issues
  • Collaborate with business analysts architects DBAs and development teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
  • Implement data governance security and compliance standards
  • Participate in code reviews and establish best practices for ETL development and automation
  • Support production deployments and provide incident resolution for critical data pipelines

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $85,000 - $95,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
