Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Jr. Offensive Cyber Engineer in Lawton, OK, to perform hands-on security assessments, develop exploits, and translate offensive tactics into robust detections. The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, Linux/Windows proficiency, and scripting skills.

You will work with CMO/CRS teams, participate in testing events, and contribute to threat detection improvements in a fast-paced national security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with related experience.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in pen testing, vuln assessments, or red teaming.
• Proficiency with Linux and Windows OS; scripting in Python/PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom exploits, payloads, and automation scripts based on vulnerabilities.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across networks, apps, and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with CRS to validate and improve threat detectors using offensive TTPs.
• Document findings and produce remediation guidance and after-action reviews.
