Leidos in Lawton, OK is seeking a Jr. Offensive Cyber Engineer to join the INTEL Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area.

You will perform technical security assessments, execute penetration tests on enterprise and government systems, and help translate offensive tactics into robust threat detections. This role requires hands-on testing, scripting in Python/Bash/PowerShell, and collaboration with defensive teams to improve detectors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline with 2+ years of experience; OR a Master’s with 0+ years; OR an additional 4 years in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, or red teaming.
• Proficiency with Linux (Kali/Parrot/Ubuntu) and Windows.
• Ability to write scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and common vulnerability classes.

Aufgaben

• Develop custom exploits, payloads, and automated scripts based on identified vulnerabilities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist in penetration tests across networks, apps, and cloud.
• Collaborate with CRS and detection engineering to validate and improve threat detectors based on TTPs.
• Participate in operational testing events to verify exploit effectiveness in mission-critical environments.
• Research technical documentation and security guides; document findings clearly in technical reports.
