Job summary
Midland Industries in Overland Park, KS seeks a Junior OEM Engineering Sales Account Manager to partner with senior leadership on strategic decisions and grow our OEM sales pipeline. You will work with Application Engineering, Customer Service, and Senior Leadership to identify opportunities, gather technical requirements, and craft credible quotations.
Ideal candidates have solid CAD/ SolidWorks skills, a mechanical mindset, and 2+ years in technical sales or engineering within OEM markets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of technical sales or engineering experience.
- Experience in Industrial OEM, Plumbing/PVF, Waterworks, or Irrigation wholesale markets strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities through customer facility walks.
- Develop solutions and prepare quotations with internal teams.
- Lead as primary customer contact for opportunities meeting revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Pricing to drive growth and strategy.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and product gaps.
