Job summary

Foxhole Technology is hiring a Jr. Systems Administrator to support enterprise systems in a secured DoD environment. You will help manage users, permissions, and core services while aligning with RMF controls.

The role provides hands-on experience across Windows/Linux platforms and DoD cybersecurity practices, including HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM tools, with a focus on ongoing learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required with eligibility for Top Secret
• Minimum 1 year of system administration experience
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE)
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux servers and core services

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine system tasks: user accounts, password resets, permissions
• Monitor system functionality and diagnose hardware/software issues
• Roll out updates, patches, and antivirus per DoD directives (STIGs/IAVM)
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
• Contribute to RMF-based control implementations and documentation
• Assist with backups and restoration procedures
