Job summary

Foxhole Technology, LLC is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator to support enterprise systems within a secure DoD environment. You will gain hands-on experience across platforms, assisting with AD, DNS, Group Policy, and cybersecurity tooling.

The role requires 1+ year of sysadmin experience, DoD 8570 Level II certification, and an active Secret clearance with TS eligibility. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $71,000 USD with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS.
• 1+ year of experience as a System Administrator.
• Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE).
• Familiarity with Windows Server or Linux systems.
• Experience supporting DoD security requirements and RMF controls.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine system tasks such as user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
• Monitor system functionality and diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Support rollout of updates, patches, and antivirus in line with DoD directives (STIGs/IAVM).
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
• Contribute to RMF-based control implementation and documentation.
• Assist in executing backup and restoration procedures.
• Provide operational support for cybersecurity tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM.
