Lucayan Technology Solutions LLC is seeking a Junior Windows Application Administrator to provide overnight support for enterprise applications on a federal government IT program. The role involves monitoring critical systems, responding to incidents, and restoring service during the night shift, with a path to collaborating with a senior team in a DoD cloud and cybersecurity environment.

Qualifications

Security clearance required: minimum T3.
Degree in IT or related field, or current Microsoft certification.
2+ years in Windows Server and application administration or IT operations.
Experience with incident response, patching, and troubleshooting in production.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and basic SQL.
Ability to work a fixed overnight schedule (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM ET).

Responsibilities

Monitor overnight enterprise applications, a public-facing website, and database alerts.
Respond to incidents promptly, notify stakeholders, and restore service within defined timelines.
Troubleshoot, patch, and maintain Windows-hosted applications during scheduled maintenance windows.
Apply security patches and STIG configurations and help remediate vulnerability findings.
Provide first-line support for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases and escalate as needed.
Track incidents and outages in ServiceNow and help prepare after-action reports.
Document overnight procedures and hand off open issues to the day team.
