ARK Solutions, Inc. seeks a motivated Junior Network/Telecom Specialist to support a statewide NG911 operations environment. The role involves monitoring dashboards, documenting incidents, and providing Tier I support to communication centers from onsite facilities in Raleigh, NC.

You will create and manage incident tickets, coordinate with vendors, and escalate critical issues to Tier II as appropriate, ensuring continuous service availability for emergency communications networks.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT help desk or service desk roles.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, connectivity, and network equipment.
• Familiarity with incident management and ticketing platforms.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work overnight shifts in a 24/7 onsite operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network dashboards, alerts, and system availability.
• Document network incidents and service disruptions for quick resolution.
• Provide Tier I technical support to communication centers.
• Create and maintain incident tickets using Salesforce or other ticketing platforms.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with technical vendors and escalate as needed.
• Prepare shift handover reports and relay operational updates.
