Job summary

Gruve in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Junior Network Engineer to support our growing AI-focused security and cloud infrastructure platform. You will work on routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, and performance monitoring, with exposure to ServiceNow, Salesforce, Jira JSM, Microsoft platforms, Slack, and Nagios.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, ticket SLAs, and cross-team collaboration. Freshers or 1–2 years of experience are welcome; CCNA/CCNP/CCIE are a plus.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech, MCA, or a Master’s degree.
• Freshers / 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability and optimal performance of system and network services.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of wireless network devices like APs, switches.
• Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure to maintain high availability.
• Continuously analyze platform behavior and provide recommendations for system and infrastructure improvements.
• Possess knowledge and experience in IT Infrastructure Monitoring, Nagios, Servers, UPS, N/W Devices, LAN, and WAN ITSM Tools like Jira, Service Now, Sales Force as added advantage.
• Demonstrate expertise in system configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in communication, coordination and ensuring timely resolution/escalation of tickets within the established SLAs.
• Skilled in Active Directory, DHCP, DNS management, and troubleshooting associated issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive, up-to-date technical documentation.
• Create and oversee the implementation of new internal and external policies.
• Demonstrate the ability to lead and participate in technical sessions, coordinate multi-organizational projects, and manage technical implementation or troubleshooting discussions effectively.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Network Engineer with good understanding of networks, expertise in routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VLAN, BGP, security, and system performance management, experience of ServiceNow, Salse Force, Jira JSM, Microsoft Platform, Slack, Nagios Monitoring tool etc possessing strong technical support and communication skills. Knowledge of wireless networking, 4G/5G networks will be added advantage.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Freshers / 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Routing, Switching, Firewall, Networking, Security Monitoring, Internet, etc.
• Committed to 24×7 rotational shifts including nights and weekends.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education: BE/B.Tech, MCA, or a Master's degree.
• Experience: Freshers / 1-2 yearsof relevant experience.
• Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
