TRISTAR is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to support NSWC Crane projects. You will assist with mechanical design, CAD modeling, technical documentation, and analyses for U.S. Navy programs, growing expertise in marine systems and DoD environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree (ABET-accredited) in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Ability to write clear reports and specifications.
• Ability to interface with team members and project managers.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical design support, CAD modeling, and technical documentation for naval/m defense projects.
• Generate mechanical drawings for systems, machinery spaces, and outfitting.
• Draft detailed multi-view drawings from sketches for installation and removal.
• Create CAD models and machinery arrangements using AutoCAD.
