ReconCraft is seeking a Jr. Naval Architect to join our engineering team in an entry-level capacity.

Recent graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience will develop careers in naval architecture and marine engineering, focusing on weight monitoring, hydrostatics, and hull form development under experienced supervision. The role requires design, drafting, 3-D modeling, and BOM creation for prototype and production builds, with adherence to applicable standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering required.
• Entry-level opportunity for recent graduate or with up to two years of experience.
• Experience with weight estimates, hydrostatics, stability analysis, hull form development, and basic design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support projects with structural and systems design.
• Create and develop shop drawings and BOMs for prototype and production builds.
• Refine designs through red-line processes and integrate manufacturing feedback.
• Produce 3-D models and technical presentations as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering team to meet project timelines.
