Job summary

Sintel Inc. in Spring Lake, MI is seeking a Junior MIG Fabrication Welder to turn drawings into durable parts. You will prep your station, set up MIG welding, and lay down clean beads while ensuring safety and quality on a tight-knit team.

You will study blueprints, fabricate parts to spec, inspect welds, and help optimize processes in a fast-paced production environment. High school diploma and welding certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and operate welding equipment to support production runs with reliable throughput.
• Study blueprints and drawings to determine measurements and fit-up needs.
• Perform MIG welding to fabricate parts and assemblies that meet specs and finish standards.
• Verify work by inspecting welds and dimensions for accuracy and compliance.
• Keep work area organized and hazard-free while following all safety procedures.
• Team up with peers to refine processes and boost efficiency.
• Assist with troubleshooting weld quality or equipment issues as they arise.
