AgileEngine is seeking a Junior/Middle Computer Vision Engineer to support data preparation, model training, and evaluation for an AI team handling large-scale image and video datasets.

You will curate annotation workflows, run training and evaluation jobs, and document results while collaborating with senior engineers on failure-case analysis. The role offers growth into applied modeling or MLOps in a mentorship-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship not offered.
• 1–3 years of experience in software, data science, ML, or related field.
• Degree in CS/DS/Engineering/Math or equivalent experience.
• US-based engineers must reside in Dallas, TX and be onsite.
• Foundational Python skills.
• Foundational ML concepts and workflows.
• Basic knowledge of CV principles (image processing, detection).
• Familiarity with cloud environments and compute resources.
• Strong willingness to learn in a mentorship-driven setting.
• Strong attention to data quality and documentation.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Curate large-scale image/video datasets and manage labeling workflows.
• Run model training and evaluation jobs; ensure experiments run smoothly.
• Document training results and track model performance over time.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze failure cases for improvements.
• Own foundational tasks supporting the AI/ML lifecycle and production deployments.
