Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking an IT Support/Desktop Administrator at Ft. Belvoir, VA to install, configure, and monitor end-user automation equipment and to keep conference rooms and IT hardware fully functional.

Three years of desktop support experience and a DoD 8140.03 II certification are required along with an active security clearance. The role includes after-hours on-site support and close coordination with the Property Book Office to manage equipment turnover.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience in desktop support and administration, including supporting, troubleshooting, and managing workstations, monitors, VTC, and printers.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II / Intermediate certification is required.
• Active security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, administration, and monitoring of end-user IT automation equipment, including baseline imaging, performance optimization, patching, and updating
• Perform maintenance and functionality checks of conference rooms to ensure computer, video-teleconference, and voice IT equipment are operational
• Identify, prioritize, track, and resolve end-user automation hardware and software issues to maintain 99% system availability
• Provide comprehensive inventory and automation capability matrices monthly or as requested
• Analyze technical support requests and provide solutions within 10 business days of receipt
• Coordinate with Property Book Office to manage equipment issue and turn-in process for end-user IT equipment
• Perform daily printer management duties including paper and toner supply maintenance
• Provide after-hours on-site support with 2-hour response time
