Job summary

Jobot is seeking an early-career MEP Engineer in Dallas to join a top design team. You will support the design of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and help prepare construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 0–3 years of experience in MEP or building systems design is preferred.
• Active EIT certification or pursuing it is expected.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
• Desire to grow into a licensed PE and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a variety of project types.
• Assist in preparing construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines.
• Participate in design meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Conduct site visits and support construction administration as needed.
