Job summary

Futures Consulting, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4–10 years of MEP experience to design, analyze, and coordinate mechanical/HVAC systems across a diverse portfolio of building projects.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, gain experience toward your PE license, and use Revit and AutoCAD for construction documents while communicating with clients and project stakeholders. This role offers hands-on design responsibility and opportunities to influence multiple market sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 4–10 years of MEP consulting/design experience.
• EIT certification and working toward PE license.
• Knowledge of building mechanical/HVAC systems and applicable codes.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical/HVAC systems for a variety of building types.
• Perform equipment selections, layouts, load calculations, and equipment scheduling.
• Coordinate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and designers to develop practical solutions.
• Review designs against quality-control standards.
• Manage project documentation and files.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and site visits.
