Blue United Sourcing seeks a Junior Medical Physicist in Valdosta, GA, joining an outpatient Radiation Oncology team. You will calibrate equipment, perform dosimetry calculations, and support QA and regulatory compliance while collaborating with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists.

The role requires ABR Part 1, with residency in progress toward ABR certification, and offers a weekday schedule, no weekends, and strong professional growth within a supportive center.

Qualifications

• ABR Part 1 completed or in progress and residency progressing toward ABR certification.
• Graduate degree in Medical Physics preferred; related degrees considered.
• Board eligible for ABR or ABMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate radiation therapy equipment and verify safe operation.
• Perform external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy dosimetry calculations.
• Document clinical dosimetry and quality assurance activities.
• Support radiation surveys, leak testing, and radioactive source testing.
• Assist with equipment maintenance documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to development of medical physics policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate clinical and QA documentation.
• Provide radiation safety education to hospital staff.
